Our Town: The Story of Suffield, Connecticut

Our Town: The Story of Suffield, Connecticut is a documentary short (20 minutes) on the history of my hometown of Suffield, Connecticut to help celebrate the town’s 350th Anniversary. It is a beautiful New England farming town along the Connecticut River on the border of Massachusetts. We spent a year capturing Suffield and its historic Main Street homes as well as its sprawling tobacco fields in every season, including drone shots coming up off the river over the treetops. The film premiered at a kick-off event at the theater in Suffield High School.

ASSIST: Building Bridges Across The Globe

This is a 10-minute image video produced for the international exchange program ASSIST (American Secondary Schools for International Students and Teachers) which won a 2018 Gold Telly Award, a national competition with over 12,000 entrees. The Chairman of the ASSIST Board of Directors called the video “magnificent” and said “it will serve us well.”

Union College Hockey Fundraising Video

This is a 15-minute documentary-style video history of the Union College hockey program which includes its 2014 NCAA Division I Championship run. It is being used to raise $10 million for a new rink expansion. The Director of Athletics said “You nailed it!” Winner: Telly Award

New Canaan Country School: Fortune Favors the Bold

New Canaan Country School: Fortune Favors the Bold celebrates the 100th Anniversary of New Canaan Country School, a prestigious elementary through ninth grade independent day school in Connecticut. The film premiered with much fanfare at their gala event for 750 alumni, friends and family and is now on their website promoting the school.

My Fulbright Life: Brian Rutenberg

In this Telly Award-winning video, the very accomplished artist Brian Rutenberg brings us into his studio to discuss the evolution of his art, how the Fulbright he received to Ireland inspired his work, and what he is doing now.

Letchworth State Park

This promotional video helped Letchworth State Park in upstate New York (rated #1 nationally by USA Today) successfully raise $5 million for a new nature center. The chairman of the fundraising committee said "I am blown away with this video!"

Forbes: A World of Business

Forbes: A World of Business is a 15-minute image video produced for Forbes Magazine’s Annual World Conference. The goal of the video was to show how the Forbes brand has truly become global with offices all over the world. Shot on five continents and premiered at the opening of the conference, the video was very well received. Steve Forbes said: “You knocked one out of the park!”

Preserving Pitney Farm

Preserving Pitney Farm - This a short documentary about a historic farm in Mendham, New Jersey that is in danger of being lost to developers. This picturesque farm is 300 years old, has passed through 11 generations of the same family (Pitney) and simultaneously represents the history of a town and a people who have been important in American history. Pitney Farm committee members called the film “beautiful” and “flawless.” The video has already generated several newspaper articles and is being used to raise money and awareness.
